Jessica Paulsen
By observing Mrs. Pulsen I developed a strong knowledge for pedagogical practices that reflected effectively in my lessons. Her guidance helped me develop my teacher voice, improve my classroom management skills and changed my prospective on younger elementary students. She has given wonderful advice as to how to create a classroom thats engaged in daily 5 activities that will keep the students coming back for more.
Justin Miller
Mr. Miller is a Fifth grade teacher at Pioneer Elementary School. He taught me the importance of getting to know my students before creating lesson plans or a classroom management plan. In order to know how your students will respond to your approach of managing your classroom it’s essential that you get to know them first. Simply by standing outside the classroom door, asking how their night or weekend went will improve the relationship between a student and their teacher. Once that student, teacher relationship is formed, the lesson plans will begin blooming from there. This will allow you to assess your students knowledge once. From here, the learning community will blossom
